Last Wednesday, April 24, the 10th edition of Insurance World Challenges took place in Madrid, under the slogan "10 years changing the game". This event, considered one of the largest in the #insurtech field worldwide, was attended by more than 45 speakers in keynotes, panels, interviews and Show & Tell, highlighting networking as the protagonist. We were present alongside leaders and experts to discuss the global challenges and trends of the insurance industry. During the event, we reaffirmed our commitment to digital transformation by exploring tools and technologies that optimize processes and enrich the customer experience.

We attended the innovation hub for Industry 4.0 in Barcelona, the Advanced Factory 2024, the latest innovations in industrial automation, robotics and technologies for Industry 4.0. The attendance of Icalia Solutions demonstrates the commitment to the technological forefront and the interest in the trends that drive digital transformation in industry.

Icalia presents its new Tech Talks section to share innovative projects! These sessions encourage the exchange of experiences and success stories, fostering collaboration and professional learning. In the first session, Alexis Alvarez, Business Manager of the Innovation Lab area, presented the exciting progress of the Bodega Digital Phase 2 project, in this phase the standard in wine traceability is raised through technologies such as IoT, RFID and Blockchain.

We do not miss the exclusive meeting for companies of the 'Cercle Tecnològic' with Núria Freixas, coordinator of Digital Services of the AMB, and Carme Fàbregas, director of the Systems and Innovation Area of the ATM, the session discussed the role of technology in their organizations. Moderated by Fabrizio Magnani, executive partner at Gartner, the session addressed the technological structure and short-term objectives, including the incorporation of technologies such as AI.

David Del Olmo, our Business Manager in cybersecurity, participated in four days of intensive learning, connecting and exploring at Fortinet Accelerate 2024, one of the most prominent events in the industry. During the event, strategies for converging software, hardware and cloud technologies to provide maximum protection against ever-evolving cyber threats were explored. This experience has been invaluable for exchanging ideas with other industry leaders and learning from security experts.

We presented the results of the 'Digital Winery Phase 2' project at Celler LaVinyeta, highlighting the advances in warehouse management and traceability through technologies such as IoT, RFID and Blockchain, which is transforming the supply chain in the wine industry. Our participation highlights the key importance of technology in the evolution of this sector, promoting efficiency and transparency in every step of the process.
