SIL Barcelona 2025 - Web ICALIA

Icalia Solutions took part in the Cluster Day held within the framework of SIL Barcelona, a key event to address the challenges and opportunities in food logistics. The event was organised by ICIL, Clúster Digital de Catalunya, Clúster Food Retail de Catalunya, IN-MOVE by Railgrup, INNOVI Clúster Vitivinícola Català, and INNOVACC Clúster Català de la Carn i la Proteïna Alternativa, with the support of ACCIÓ – Generalitat de Catalunya.

During the session, our colleague Alexis Álvarez Rollán, Head of the Innovation Lab at Icalia, presented how the digitalisation of the cold chain, from origin to consumer, drives more efficient, traceable and sustainable logistics. This approach is aligned with the sector’s main challenges and the success stories we are proud to be leading.

The day also explored innovative solutions such as RFID technology, which provides new answers to today’s supply chain challenges.
